With great sense of pride we conducted week long inter-school activities. The response was huge – 22 schools from the tri-city participated in various competitions like Skit, monoacting, semi-classical dance, musical events, English elocution, scrabble and Computer quiz and walked away with prizes. The prize distribution was held on 22nd August with Mr. D.R. Yadav, Joint Secretary , Regional Officer, CBSE, Panchkula, giving away the prizes. The sense of achievement and joy was writ large on the faces of students and staff of Stepping Stones School.

It  was  a  nostalgic  moment  for  all  when  memories  of  4th April  1984 were  rekindled. It  was  that  day  when  a  preparatory  school  by  the  name  of  Stepping  Stones  was  established.

The  Principal  Mrs. Anu Kumar  cut  the  cake  with  a  great  sense  of  pride. Students  gave  lively  performances. The day became very special for the students when they saw t their teachers and Principal perform on stage. Ex- students too joined  in  the  celebration. The  ex-students  and  staff  talked  of  those  cherished  moments  over  a  cup  of  tea. There was also an interactive session between the teachers and students, both present and past, in which they exchanged their views and their vision about ensuring that their school always ranks the first among equals.  

The new student council was also formed for the new session 2009-2010. The Captains and Vice Captains were given sashes and badges by the Principal and they were made to feel their responsibility.

The show was a combination of Athletic Events, Self defense Skills , music and Dance.

Watching the four Houses march to the beat of the Army Band was a delight to the eyes. Ankita Sharma, School Captain, led the contingents. Green House was adjudged the best Marching House.

A short skit enacted to a soulful melody was the highlight of the show. It portrayed the plight of women right from ancient India to modern times.

Dr. Ashok Gupta , the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to academic achievers and athletes.

A blend of Indian classical and western music was seen in Thematic dance performed by girls of classes VIII-X.

The acrobats performed by the young gymnasts were a feast to the eyes. The Karate, Yoga, Aerobics etc. were all performed with ease by young students of the Senior wing.

Bhangra – from the land of five rivers was a part of the Grand finale followed by Composite Drill.
